Packages and Pricing
1 Hour Lesson (Virtual or In-Person) + 30 Minute Post Review
This package allots for 1 hour of instruction. We will hold a 10-15 minute conversation over the phone prior to this session to determine how advanced the client is and what they would like to learn. During the 1 hour lesson, the student will be taught my process of either shooting images on location or editing in post production (client’s preference). Due to time constraints it is difficult to include both in a 1 hour time slot. The 30 minute post review allows the client to go and practice these techniques learned on a photo shoot of their own and hold review of their work where the instructor can give further guidance. This enables the student to build on their own images vs watch and forget the skills.
All virtual portions of the training will be recorded and available to the clients for an additional $15 fee.

4 Hour Lesson (In-Person, Virtual, or Combination) + 30 Minute Post Review
This package allots for 4 hours of instruction which can be completed in one session or broken up over multiple dates (full payment will be required at time of the first session). We will hold a 10-15 minute conversation over the phone prior to this session to determine how advanced the client is and what they would like to learn. During the in-person lesson, the student will be taught my process of shooting their subjects on location followed by editing in post production via computer access (this can be altered, at client’s preference if they rather more instruction of one or the other). This package allows the student to maximize their potential for advancing their abilities. We will cover the full range of shooting techniques as well as the ability to cover a wide variety of editing processes. The instructor will teach the in-depth understanding of layers within Photoshop and to perform non-destructive editing. The additional 30 minute post review allows the client to go and practice these techniques learned on a photo shoot of their own and hold review of their work where the instructor can give further guidance. This enables the student to build on their own images vs watch and forget the skills.

4 Hour Landscape Photography Lesson (In-Person & Virtual) + 30 Minute Post Review
This package allots for 4 hour of instruction. Travel and shoot on location at one of the many nearby locations such as Great Falls, VA or Washington, D.C. and discover the local beauty right in our backyard. While on location, the student will practice composition, proper exposure methods, rule of thirds and much more. Learn and understand proper techniques to capture that amazing shot we all look for! After the in-person photo shoot, the student will return to their computer to be taught my process of editing landscape photographs in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Processes such as dodge & burn, sharpening methods, and Orton effect will all be covered. The instructor will teach the an in depth understanding of layers within Photoshop and to perform non-destructive editing. The 30 minute post review allows the client to go and practice these techniques learned on a photo shoot of their own and hold review of their work where the instructor can give further guidance.
